Andy’s Headlands Home

Budget: $1,000,000

"Renee went above and beyond to explain multiple options and always made me feel that anything was achievable."

Andy’s Home is about working with the Council requirements and not against them. This home is the result of providing rear access to an existing home and achieving all the required building setbacks from the neighbours. This left us with a width of 6.5m to design Andy’s house.

Smart programming of the spaces was the key to creating a functional, yet spacious home. The family rooms are separated between the upper and lower floors using the staircase as the separating element. The orientation of the house allowed for views of the Shoalhaven River inlet from the living rooms and the home will be kept warm in winter with large western windows.
